A little guide for some of your wedding moments
In this guide you'll find some suggestions on some details that will make your photos look better
Trending groom outfits
Many men choose a blue jacket and trousers for their wedding. Later, they often find that in the photos, their outfit appears in a shade that’s hard to define. This doesn’t always happen because of the photographer — a good photographer doesn’t alter colors beyond recognition and tries to keep tones as natural as possible. However, some colors are simply difficult to capture in photos, especially when placed next to the bride’s white dress. Whites often shift toward blue or magenta, and when the photographer tries to edit the bride’s dress with clean tones, it can unintentionally dull the groom’s outfit colors. To avoid this issue, it's best to follow the year's trending colors, which are chosen not only for style but also to enhance the groom’s look aesthetically in photos.
Brides dress trends
If you haven’t chosen your dress yet, this might help. Here I’ve gathered some inspiration based on the latest trends — but remember, choosing a wedding dress is a deeply personal decision. You need to feel a connection with it. Even if it’s not trendy, if it truly represents you, then that is your perfect dress.
If you're still looking and want to understand what’s fashionable and what might suit you best, take a look at some of these photos for inspiration.
In 2025, the trend is minimalism. White is no longer a bright, pure white — it leans more towards cream or warmer tones. The cut is quite simple, not too wide, with or without a train, often with bare shoulders, and many dresses are paired with a shawl.

Brides morning
If you like to have stylish pictures during the preparation, you should think about your morning outfit too.
For makeup session is better to stay near the window for beat natural light portraits.
The room must be simple, without too many distracting objects.
Who have told that brides morning is only about make-up? There can be some of your besties and you can drink a champagne, you can make some pictures jumping on the bed.
Here some inspirations in photos
The right time and attention for the brides single photos
It often happens that makeup and hair preparation take longer than expected, and a poorly planned schedule means there's no time left for photos of the bride alone or with her friends. But really, with all that the bride invests (time, money) to be beautiful, divine, and then there's no time for some lovely, artistic, and unique shots of this beauty.
No room disorder
If the room where bride/grom are making a preparation are in disorder it will be impossible to take beautiful photos
During ceremony and couple photoshoot things to remember
Hands
Some examples of how to hold hands. Don’t interlock your fingers, or it becomes hard to tell who has how many fingers!
Brides entrance
When the bride enters, the groom is already waiting for her. The photographer tries to capture that emotional look. The bride should always look at the photographer and follow his directions — when to stop, when to walk. He will give hand signals to guide her.
This is especially important if the photographer is working alone; otherwise, it’s impossible to capture both angles at once. If there are two photographers, one can film the groom and the other the bride, but in any case, it’s best to agree on the movements before the wedding day.
Sometimes a little stop is needed, and usually, the bride stops for a moment before walking down the aisle toward the groom.
No cell phone in the pants
If the groom keeps a phone in his pants pocket, it often shows through and can make the leg look oddly shaped in the photos. To avoid editing hundreds of shots to fix this, it’s much better to keep the phone elsewhere — perhaps give it to someone else, at least during the key moments of the day. This small detail can make a big difference in how polished and elegant the photos look.
Rings exchange
The exchange of rings may seem like the simplest part of the ceremony, but sometimes it feels like the couple is trying to hide it from everyone. They turn their backs, stand too close to each other, and lean their heads over their hands — making it hard for both the photographer and the guests to see what’s happening.
Remember that everyone wants to see this special moment, and the photographer only has the few seconds to capture it. You should stand facing each other, not too close, so that your hands are clearly visible. When putting the ring, take a moment — or do it slowly — to give a better chance of getting a perfect, in-focus shot.
Make some practise in front of a mirror at home, before the wedding.
Avoid turning your back to the guests during the exchange of rings.
Luckily, I don’t have bad examples to show, as I’ve always managed to capture the moment despite the challenges. Now I explain this part to the couple beforehand, especially when I’m the only photographer. When there are two photographers, there’s always an extra safety to get the best result.
Cake cutting
The cake cutting is a joyful moment — have fun with it! Get a little messy with the cream, why not?
Just one thing — remember that someone is capturing this on photo or video, so pause for a few extra seconds with the knife in the cake.
Group photos
Group photos can be a bit boring, but if the group isn’t too large, you can play around with compositions. When taking family photos or shots of the groom with his friends / the bride with her bridesmaids, you can enrich the classic group shots with some more creative ones. Here are a few examples.
Dress code
You and your guests are free to dress however you like, but if there’s no dress code, expect a mix of styles and colors in the photos — which sometimes doesn't make the images look very elegant.
Choosing to stick to a certain style or a limited color palette makes everything more visually appealing.
Take a look at some examples and decide what you prefer. Colors have a big impact on the beauty of the images your photographer creates.
No jackets on the seats
You invest on a beautiful decorations and then you look on the photos and can't understand, why it looks so weird.
Very often it happens because of the jackets on the seats.
If there is a possibility to guests live their jackets in a guardrobe your dinner seats will look perfect even during the whole day.
